| Sorry but your analogy of getting your car impounded because you broke the law (parked it illegally) and going into a city lot to get your car back stealing it back without paying is COMPLETELY different. Ask yourself why the shop gave bout_it023 her engine back from the mechanic/repair shop where it was being stored. Its because she had legal rights to it just as the other person. e.g. say if it was the whole car there or just the engine, in this case it was just the engine, all she had to show up was with a title and say "hey thats my car I want it" and the mechanic/repair shop would have to give it to her (which they did). If money was due all she had to do was pay the repair bill and get it back. According the her she didnt have to pay any repair bill to get it back because no work was performed on it. Your towing analogy is pretty dumb, because say if her bf had the car towed because he parked it illegally. She can still show up at the impound lot and PAY to get the car out by showing the title that she owned the car (which she does). Or he can show up himself with the title and redeem the car. No one said anything about breaking into impound lots and stealing cars. This is a simple case, some people are just taking it wayyyyy farther then it really is. Its simple!!
